Mushroom Hunts Open to the Public
MMHC offers a number of events throughout the mushroom hunting season. Additionally it hosts an annual Spring potluck and meeting, a winter gathering and off-season seminars open to all members. For information concerning upcoming public events just click on one of the buttons below. Please note that these public hunts represent only about 20% of the hunts that are held by and available to our club members. For information regarding membership in the MMHC please click here.
From time-to-time changes need to be made to the schedule and are not always reflected on this page. We recommend that if you are going to be attending a hunt you contact the hunt leader to verify the date, time, and location of the hunt.

Meet at the Woods and park at the main gate parking lot area on the south side of M-115 & walk to the cabin.
To reach the hunt site from the Detroit area take I-75 north to US-10 west. Follow US-10 west to M-115 exit; about 10 miles past the Michigan DOT Visitor Center. Turn right at the end of the exit ramp and drive 1.3 miles. The entrance is on the left. Click here for interactive map.
